Terms of use
Draft, last updated [date]. These terms have not yet been reviewed by a solicitor.
What KennelFinder does
KennelFinder helps dog owners in the UK find boarding kennels with space. You tell us where and when you need boarding. We contact nearby council-licensed kennels on your behalf to ask whether they have space, and show you the replies. The service is run by [company or trading name] (“we”).
What KennelFinder does not do
- We do not book kennels for you. You contact the kennel directly to book, and any booking is a contract between you and the kennel.
- We do not take payments, and we do not set or guarantee prices.
- We do not inspect, recommend or endorse any kennel.
Results are provisional
Everything we show you comes from the kennels. Availability, prices and conditions are provisional and can change. The kennel confirms them when you contact it. A star rating, if shown, is the rating given by the council and may be out of date.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about yourself and your dogs, including health, vaccination and behaviour details. Kennels rely on it to decide whether they can take your dog safely.
- Check the kennel's licence, facilities, vaccination requirements and terms yourself before you book.
- Keep your results link private. Anyone with the link can see your results.
- Do not misuse the service, for example by submitting false or repeated requests.
Kennels
We only contact kennels that we hold as council-licensed, but we cannot guarantee that licence details we hold are current. We use reasonable efforts to remove kennels that ask not to be contacted.
Our responsibility
We provide the service free of charge and with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise that a kennel will reply or have space, or that the service will always be available. We are not responsible for the actions of kennels or for any loss that arises from a booking you make with a kennel. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. [Solicitor to review and confirm the wording of this section.]
Your data
How we use your personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
